Featuring traditional Lions colours and classic late-1980s rugby construction, it captures the unmistakable aesthetic of the amateur era. The 1989 Lions recovered from defeat in the opening Test to win the series 2–1, becoming the first Lions side to overturn a 1–0 deficit to win a Test series. Original supporter wear from the tour is now a particularly distinctive piece of Lions memorabilia.
