A Waikato home jersey from 1994–1996, worn in New Zealand’s provincial rugby competitions during the early professional transition period. Featuring the traditional red, yellow, and black colour scheme with the Mooloos identity and simpler cotton construction, it reflects the strong provincial rugby culture of the era. It is associated with Waikato Rugby Union during a competitive mid-1990s period that helped develop numerous players who would go on to feature in Super Rugby and the All Blacks setup as the sport moved toward full professionalism in 1995.
